In this lesson we are learning the tune for the great Irish Jig ‘Out on the Ocean’.

This lively bright tune is in G Major and we are in Standard Tuning playing mostly in open position.

I am playing and teaching this using a flatpick (plectrum) but if preferred you could also learn this tune using your fingers playing fingerstyle.
