Tuition Reviews
“My son Calum enjoyed being taught guitar by Wilson and built up a great tutoring relationship with him. Within a year Calum went from not knowing any chords and was recommended not to take guitar for Nat 5 by his music teacher at school, to gaining an A in music at National 5 level with guitar as one of his instruments. A fantastic achievement considering he hadn’t taken music in 3rd year at high school. Wilson sent me music files every week for Calum to practice, great communication and feedback on progress and invaluable advice for Calum. Highly recommended guitar tutor.” Lisa Thomson, (Students Parent)
“I started taking online lessons with Wilson as an intermediate guitarist who’d stagnated, I was looking to brush up on musical theory and learn some new guitar techniques. Wilson brought my playing on leaps and bounds in just a short time. Every lesson was tailored to me personally and we moved at my pace at all times. Wilson is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about music.” Ryan Simpson, (Guitar Student)
“Wilson Noble knows how to listen very deeply and attentively. He provides a very well-held container in which the student is free to explore and equally safe to make mistakes. An accompaniment and a guide in the discovery of the student’s own innate and inherent musicality and capacity, his decades of experience and expansive knowledge of the general landscape of music itself are what combine to make learning with him an experience of fun, laughter, learning, and growth that I could not recommend more highly. The very best guitar teacher I have ever worked with, without a single syllable of exaggeration.” Marc-John Brown, (Guitar Student)
“Wilson has been a valuable member of the Fèis Inbhir Narainn team of tutors over the last 2 years. We found him to be a conscientious and encouraging guitar tutor – one which the pupils fully engaged with. We were really sorry to lose Wilson recently as he has now moved to the Edinburgh area – our loss is Edinburgh’s gain!” Rhona Macdonald – Fèis Inbhir Narainn, (Traditional Music Organisation)
“Wilson taught our daughter and was very understanding when she was feeling anxious, and he is a lovely guy.” Jennifer MacDonald, (Students Parent)
“Hey Wilson! Just wanted to reach out and say thanks so much for the lessons. I’m starting to understand the intricacies of the guitar more. All your explanations have been clear and concise, and answered all my questions. Not to mention perfectly reasonable prices! Thanks and can’t wait to continue growing as an artist” Naoki Nayati, (Guitar Student)
